Haha, very amusing.

This started off a bit cornball, but it got really really funny. My favorite scenes were the DARPA chief and how Snake calls Meryl a noob everytime he talks about her. Also the lubed up walls cracked me up.

I'm looking forward to more.

Thanks =)

My feelings are still the same.

Y'know, I've been an avid disliker of the LF flashes, and I thought to myself, "Self, perhaps you're being too cruel. Everyone else likes his stuff. Go ahead and watch this brand spanking new flash with an open mind."

That only made me more certain of my preconceived opinions and cynicism towards people.

I was honestly expecting perhaps an improvement in the area of graphics, writing, and timing, considering you've been doing this for several years. But it's just another microwaved crap burger that tickles people's nostalgia bones.

Graphics-wise, that intro sequence was nothing short of mediocre. The running cycle on the girl looked like one of her kneecaps was shattered. The recycled scenes that were merely warped to looked like they have perspective are just plain lazy and un-pro.

The sound was just blah. Appropriate sound effects and such. But what really chaps my arse are some of the voice actors. Honestly, the whiny psuedo-British man voice could kill a baby with enough exposure.

And the dialog itself is nothing clever or witty. If you were going for just plain silly, well, you failed there too. And Kevin, or Steve, or whatever the heck his name is, did nothing for me. Actually no, I lied. I felt contempt and embarassment. Much like your other flashes when you have a character making nerdy passes at your damsels.

Story is inspired by a video game and thus is uninspired. I wouldn't hate so much if it worked better as a parody. I love parodies, but they have to work. So much time is spent on crappy action sequences, boring story progression, sketchy dialog, and jokes that are dead before they exit the womb.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Excellent

Bravo sir. Bravo.

Clean grphx. Excellent sounds. Nice style.

Very nice collab. The visuals were a treat for the eyes. Some definately better than others. (I particularly liked how the worms actually looked like the in-game characters very much).

My only gripe is that it's all a bit incoherent. And by that, I mean the song wasn't really utilized. It was upbeat, and the tempo kept the animation fast and fun, but it didn't really work with the visuals.

Of course, this is something that tends to happen in collabs. *cough* Stop Cryin Your Heart Out *cough*

Either way, pretty spiffy.

Yay! Squirrels!

I think my squirrel could take on BOTH your squirrels. ;)

Great flash! Very funny.

Pretty funny.

I didn't see that killer crab coming. Thought it was going to be a long drawn out joke about Snake's unspoken crab-phobia, but it turned out much better than I thought. Funny stuff.

Why are you still making these?

Why watch this when I can watch the real deal? Parodies usually only work when you take a serious work of art and make it funny. You taken Ren and Stimpy and made it less funny.

JamesJ responds:

It's not a parody, jackass.

The Overall score sure isn't an average

Beautiful, but seriously. . .that was whack.

Nice one!

Wow, very good flash. But I write this review while it's currently number one on the portal, so I'm gonna be nit-picky as all get out.

First off, the visuals were very suave as usual. A good blend of frame by frame and tweening. Every character scene was shaded, kudos to you for that! My only complaints are that the characters every now and then look a little off proportionally. Also, there are some scenes (like when he get's home and takes a deep breath) where you tween the entire character. This doesn't look good.

The music selection fit perfectly and set the appropriate tone. The voice acting left a little to be desired. I don't know if the accent was on purpose or not, but it seemed out of place. Also, some of the dialog was a bit hard to pick up. This is something that was prevalent in your latest Zelda toon .

Story wise. . . I can't really say because not much happened. It was intriguing, but just that.

Alright, I'm done being a douch-bag, but someone's gotta keep checks and balances. :)

Feel free to rag on my flashes.

Yay! You finished it!

If I could rate you a "B", I would, but I guess a 10 works.

I was so hoping that you would finish this series and was even tempted to e-mail you to finish the third.

You capture the true essense of Clocks in your movies. Good work!

TurdClock responds:

Yeah I finally finished it. Thanks for the review.

Hold onto your butts.
